Sgt. Sheldon Smith of the Lakewest Neighborhood Assistance Center (police station) literally kicked-off the Police Athletic League this month with a hugely successful turnout of kids at the Dallas PALs - MLS Soccer Camp during the week of August 13, 2007.
Many thanks to Nestle Water for being a good neighbor and corporate sponsor of the event. In the super hot heat, Nestle Water kept the kids cool with plenty of Ozarka Spring and Sport water.
The kids that participated received a free Major Leage Soccer t-shirt and soccer ball so that they can continue enjoying the sport of soccer. Additionally, kids that participated are being offered tickets to the upcoming FC Dallas v. Toronto FC game.
